Sejong University Faculty Opening Announcement



Application Period : Year-Round (The deadline for application will be notified later.)



Qualifications



◾&Բ;Those who can lead the characterization and globalization of Sejong University

◾&Բ;Those who have no grounds for disqualification as stipulated in related laws for appointment as university

 faculty

◾&Բ;Ph.D. degree holder in the relevant fields

◾&Բ;Those who can conduct lectures in English



Application Period

Year-Round (The deadline for application will be notified later.)


◾&Բ;Applications received will be held by our university until the applicant withdraws their application, and if they

 need to be hired as regular or year-round according to our university's faculty recruitment plan, we will

 consider them applicants regardless of the timing of application.

◾&Բ;The examination is conducted only for candidates who have completed the application. (enter and submit

 application information and attachments to our university's faculty recruitment system)



Appointment Condition

Appointed as Tenure track faculty or Research Focused Full-time Non-tenure track faculty in accordance with related laws, regulations related to our university faculty personnel and review results, etc.



When to be Appointed 

To be negotiated separately after completion of the recruitment process



Recruitment Process



①&Բ;Document Screening, Basic and Major Review

: Review on the candidates’ academic background, experience in education and research, academic excellence

 and level of contribution, as well as whether their major matches the subject field

②&Բ;English Seminar Review (This stage is only for shortlisted candidates who have passed 1st stage review)

: Review on presentation contents, presentation skills and potential for academic development

③&Բ;Interview Review (This stage is only for shortlisted candidates who have passed 2nd stage review)
 : Comprehensive review on qualifications and character as university faculty

※&Բ;Review results will be only notified to shortlisted candidates from each review stage, and the stages may be combined or added depending on the necessity.

◾&Բ;Contents that have not been filled in by mistake upon submission of an application shall not be accepted

 even if evidentiary documents are submitted later on.

◾&Բ;In the case of any omission of important information, forgery, or false information in the application form,

 you may be excluded from the review, and the appointment may be canceled even after the appointment.

◾&Բ;If reason for disqualification in university faculty appointment is confirmed, you may be excluded from the

 review, and the appointment may be canceled even after the appointment.

◾&Բ;Evidentiary documents must be submitted as original scan files (pdf file recommended).

◾&Բ;Certificates from non-English-speaking institutions must be submitted with English translations of the original 

 text. Translated papers should include names and signatures of the translator.

◾&Բ;If you do not use the specified form, or if you submit an Internet failure or corrupted file, it will be

 invalidated.

◾&Բ;In principle, all lectures should be conducted in English after appointment.

◾&Բ;Notifications required during the recruitment process will be notified to the e-mail indicated in the

 application form.
